The City of Aventura is accepting applications for a full-time Crime Scene Technician/Property Room Custodian I.

The Crime Scene Technician/Property Room Custodian I is to perform a variety of crime scene investigation duties within the police department as well as being responsible for a variety of tasks relating to the storage, safekeeping, returning and/or disposing of property and evidence. Job duties are technical in nature, and support the Aventura Police Department.

The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for two (2) Forensic Technicians to perform difficult technical work in the processing/investigation of crime scenes; processing may involve detailed documentation of bloodstain patterns and shooting incidents. Perform laboratory processing and documentation of evidence for fingerprints, biological/DNA evidence, hairs and fibers, and other evidence relating to the crime being investigated. Complete detailed and accurate reports and testify in a court of law regarding results of crime scene investigations, evidence processing and reports completed. Testimony is often significant in court proceedings. Work requires the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
